Pulling a pan of freshly baked oatmeal cookies will remind you of Grandma’s kitchen. Pour a glass of cold milk and take a bite. Savour the taste and texture of whole grain oats. For variety, add chocolate chips, craisins, nuts or mini m&m’s. Warning: you may not be able to stop at one!
Oat flour, quick flakes, white sugar, baking soda, xanthan gum, citric acid
Beat 1 cup butter at room temperature with 2 tbsp. corn syrup. Add 1 large egg and mix for half a minute. Add 3 cups Only Oats Grandma's Oatmeal Cookie Mix and mix till combined. Divide dough into 24 portions, roll into a ball, place on a cookie sheet and flatten with a fork. Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes, until edges are lightly browned.
